    Description

Gregg Wright is an accomplished guitarist and studio musician. His musical career has seen him work with many various artists, including Michael Jackson, Berlin and Mick Fleetwood. Though he is right handed, he plays his guitar upside down like a left handed person.

In between his many projects with other artists, Wright has managed to release a few solo albums. His first album, Khamsin, was released in 1978. Ten years later, he released the album Wake Up Call. Neither of these albums have been released on CD yet.

In 1992, Wright released the critically acclaimed World Rock album. It featured all instrumental guitar songs in the vein of guitar greats like Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. But Wright's album also included touches of jazz, with horns included on some of the songs.

In 1995, Wright formed his own label, Left Hook Records, and released the album Round One in the U.K. This album featured some vocal tracks by Wright, as well as some more instrumentals. Today, Wright is preparing to release his next solo album, which is to be called "Lightning Strike".
